The melody is easy for violin and guitar, and satisfying to sing as well! I love this song.
Come, Ye Sinners - I Will Arise and Go to Jesus
This has the same name and most of the same lyrics as the Beach Spring melody, but is entirely different in its feeling. The melody is minor, and there is an added chorus, "I Will Arise and Go to Jesus."

It has a wide range, and lots of interval leaps in the melody, making it HARD for most people to sing WELL.
Despite those difficulties, this is a good song to be able to play - and sing!
