This is a nice little melody, which springs to life when the harmony is added! Then it becomes very pretty, and full of energy.
It does have a bit of an Elizabethan sound, to me.

Just one complication
There is only one "tricky" spot in this singing round, in my opinion, and that is in the last measure of line one, the first note. It is a 4th above the previous note, and somehow feels quite unexpected, until you have practiced the interval jump over and over.

The key of C feels high
One of the fun things about this song is that each line has its own rhythm.
- Line one is very steady; after the first note, all eighth notes.
- Line two has two runs of sixteenth notes - a great contrast to line one.
- Then line three uses a dotted eighth-plus-sixteenth rhythm. Very fun!
It is a nice warm-up song
My own little choir began their song set with "Come Follow" at our most recent recital. It is a very happy-sounding bit of music.
