We do this at school during music class.

1,
1 2 1,
1 2 3 2 1,
1 2 3 4 3 2 1,
1 2 3 4 5 4 3 2 1,
1 2 3 4 5 6 5 4 3 2 1,
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 6 5 4 3 2 1,
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1

Our teacher uses a marimba as we sing but you could also use a piano. She starts on C (1) then goes up ending with C (8 an octive higher)then she starts from 8 and goes down.

Dana:
This looks like a very useful warmup, Sybilla! It would be helpful especially for singers with intonation difficulties. I'm going to try this one out this week... thanks for giving enough details to render your comment understandable. : )
