It's easier than you might think.

There's a very useful fingerboard map that goes on your right on your fingerboard. No sticky stuff involved. I found it useful because it's color coded and comes with color coded music that's designed to help you learn how to read music. Note names are included on both the map and the sheet music. Really works, and isn't expensive. You can see it at FretlessFingerGuides.com. Hope this helps.
