I learnt how to play piano and was really good at it and accepted the challenges...but it got really hard and I gave it up and didn't practise it for a long time so that now I don't even remember how to read the notes...:((( Such a waste of time...!
Don't give up. If you were a student of mine who had come back after a long absence, and had forgotten EVERYTHING, I would just have you start over with a very basic book such as "The Perfect Start to Notereading". (See it on the right side of this page, down a little bit.) Along with that, we would slowly review whatever beginner book you originally had. Little by little, things would start coming back to you and you would catch up to where you had left off. DON'T GIVE UP!
