Warm up with the Baha'i choir

by Charles Boyle

The local Baha'i choir the "New Era Baha'i Singers" in Perth run up and down the octave with the following phrases when warming up:

"Yonder and far" - excellent for getting off the consonants and plummying the vowels.
"Bubblegum" / "Double bubblegum" / "Triple double bubblegum" - clarifies diction and gets the lips tingling.

These are fun! Is the "Yonder and far" sung to the notes of a chord, as in "1 - 3 - 5 - 8"? (C-E-G-C, for example.)

Do you know what the INTERVALS are that the Bubblegum warm-up uses? This would be great with a group.
